What are the extra tracks on the new release besides 'The Sun Is All There Is', and how does one purchase an Idaho c.d. in the UK these days?

Thanks.

i bought mine from cd baby and it does come with a booklet. no info regarding the extra tracks, though. there's 6 of them:

1. the cruelest month cues 2. the pencils 3. pilgrim gun 4. sky saw 5. bath stop 6. the batman

1 is a bunch of snippets of different songs. jeff doesn't really sing much on any of the extra tracks (he sings some on #5 and #6). most of the songs sound quite unlike anything else in the idaho catalogue. #6 sounds like some of the "we were young..." tracks. anyways, just some first impressions!

im so sorry but for some reason talitres records did not put the booklet in the CD. what they do is out of my control as they are licensing the record and can do what they please with the art-work. email sean at sean@talitres.com and let him know. ive asked him to perhaps mail these booklets to anyone who asks for it. if he doesnt do that then i will try to work something else out. either way....everyone will eventually get it i promise!! the US version has the booklet obviously.

Thanks for that info Jeff. I have emailed Sean about sending me the booklet. But if there's no joy there I'll get back to you and hopefully you can remedy my problem. Thanks for giving a shit about my beloved booklet. KEEP UP THE STERLING WORK ON ALL IDAHO CDS! Cheers, Alan.

i also as soon as it came out 3 weeks ago ordered the cd from talitres just for the booklet, as i already had the original Forbidden EP and Alas. alas indeed that sean at talitres felt less than monosyllabic about following up on the booklet issue or on providing extra info material in the digipack. so thanks to the poster above for providing the titles of the extra tracks. after botching up the european pressing of the Lone Gunman by making 2 tracks identical, Talitres involuntarily recalls the french etymology of "sabotage"... Jeff, i hope the French leg of the tour at least somehow made up for it

Thanks. after a bit of writer's block, me and a friend were listening to the goof-around stuff, and became inspired! lol. I don't know what it was, but it definitely helped us to relax. sounds like you guys were having a lot of fun and it's contagious. -g

It's here! thank you! How was La Route du Rock BTW? I remember Interpol telling me about when they played there and 2000 French kids sang "Happy Birthday" to their keyboardist. Sounded like good times!

thanks susan....im officially old now :)

st malo was all in all a great night. something a bit strange about playing for lots of people seated in a church....very cavernous sounding. bryan hits the drums so hard that i think it must have sounded like endless explosions...nothing wrong with that i guess. the best part was the dinner later that night with the creators and crew of the festival. it was all very dreamlike.

Ain't no thing, I'm getting there too! :) I always remember because you're birthday's just a couple of days ahead of mine. Glad LRDR went well, did you have a chance to see anyone else perform? Make sure provide the new Forbidden EP/Alas to Tonevendor's online retail, all we have at the moment is The Palms EP, the Amos House Collection and the Dakota Suite split-7". I don't know if you still go through NAIL but we work with them directly. If you would like me to help you with that let me know and i will put you in contact with the appropriate contact.
