Hello Jeff, When writing songs do you generally write the lyrics separate to the music or do you create one and look to mould something around them?

, meant to answer this and somehow forgot

99% of the time i write the music first and then put lyrics to an initial babble track. yeah, music first, then vocal melody with improved words, then the hardest part....the actual lyrics... i dont think ive ever molded music around words
